What will it cost you?
"I want to register 20 products into 10 U.S. states, I have never sold into the United States before, what will it cost?"
Most states require a license registration and/or a portal set-up, which costs approximately $150 per state for my services.
For each product, I complete the applications and submit them with the product labels and other required information. My fee is approximately $175 per product per state. This fee varies depending on the product type.
Additionally, I charge a verification fee of $250 per product, which includes reviewing the product label, certificate of analysis, and SDS for inconsistencies and ensuring the label is compliant with all requested states.
"My products are organic, is there an additional fee?"
Yes. Organic inputs require additional approvals by OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) and CDFA OIM (California Department of Food & Agriculture’s Organic Input Material program). My service fees for these approvals range between $500–$1,800 per product, depending on the complexity of the product and the required documentation.
"I don’t have a label for my product yet. Can you help with this?"
Yes, I can create the content and design for your product label based on your logo, theme, and color palette. My company offers some of the best design services in North America, including logos and graphics.
If you already have a logo, I can design a product label for approximately $500–$700, depending on complexity.
I can also write your Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for ~$400 and review your manufacturing process flow and quality control documents to ensure compliance.
"Do your fees include the state submission fees?"
No, my fees do not include the state submission fees. These fees must be paid directly to each state via credit card or check, depending on the state's requirements.
Each state charges license and product registration fees according to their specific schedule. You can view the full list here: View State Fees
I can either collect a retainer and handle all state fees on your behalf or have your company process the fees when the applications are ready.
